Ben Franklin Softball League 2010

The 2010 Ben Franklin Softball League Organization Meeting will be held on March 23rd at 7:00 pm in the New Castle High School Auditorium.

Each Team in Required to bring:
1. $75.00 Deposit (league fee unknown at this time)
2. Team Roster (Mandatory)

The final meeting will be held on April 20th at 7:00pm at Brub's House. All schedules and ball will be given out at this time.

League will start April 28th.

New Castle Pennsylvania has been very rich in Softball for the past 30 years.  It is home to one of the greatest Pennsylvania softball teams of all time, "The Iron Dukes".  The Iron Dukes won more than 180 straight games before a loss.  They were state champions in the Major Division 5 straight years and also the Mid America Champion in the Major Division.  

The Ben Franklin Softball League has been in existence for 42 years. The League has grown well over 30 teams and 4 divisions.  This year there are 32 teams spread out over 5 Divisions.
